The word Retrogade means apparent backward motion. The planets don't actually move backward, from the vantage place of earth they appear to go backward. When a planet is in Retrograde motion our work is on the subconscious level. It is time for us to dive deeply within ourselves, discover our riches and recognize what it is that needs to be released. The quality of our experience is determined by the nature of the planet that goes Retrograde and the nature of the planet or angle in the chart that is contacted. |

Neptune is the oceanic realm of the collective unconscious. Just as water has the power to wear away rock over an extended period of time, Neptune exposes aspects of our personalities long ago hidden from view. The planet or angle in the chart being contacted indicates the area of your personality which will surface giving you greater awareness of yourself. Illusions will slowly be swept away. Neptune is an emotional energy. |

When Neptune stations (in a stationary phase
- a few days before
and a few days after May 17) we may feel as though we are in a
dream state or walking around in the fog. |

Then, as the planet, Neptune, continues in
reverse motion the
illusion of the direct phase which began October 26, 2005 will
begin to lift.
Observe carefully, if Neptune is contacting
one of your planets
or angles in your chart, a new way of perceiving your reality will begin. During the
Retrograde phase your ego will relax and become more
permeable allowing new concepts to enter your
